【摘要】:Therateoftransmissionofaliquidthrougharubbersheet,thatactsasabarrier,isimportantinrubberdiaphragmperformanceandothersimilarindustrialapplications.Thistransmissionisreferredtoasvaportransmissionsincetheliquiddiffusesthroughtherubberinamolecularsenseandescapesintofreeatmosphereinvaporform.Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytothematerialsinsheetformofmoderatethicknessandisprincipallyusefulforcomparingtherelativevaportransmissionofdifferentliquidsinthesamerubberorofthesameliquidthroughdifferentrubbers.Comparisonsshouldnotbemadeinwhichbothdifferentrubbersanddifferentliquidsareused.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftherateofvaportransmissionofvolatileliquidsthrougharubbersheet,disk,ordiaphragm.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsareagenerallyreliablemeansofidentifyingthegenerictypesoffiberspresentinasampleoftextilematerialofunknowncomposition.Themethodsaregenerallynotusefulfordistinguishingfibersofthesamegenericclassfromdifferentmanufacturersorfordistinguishingdifferentfibertypesofthesamegenericclassfromoneproducer.Manyfibersarechemicallymodifiedbytheirproducersinvariouswayssoastoaltertheirproperties.Itispossibleforsuchmodificationstointerfereseriouslywiththeanalysesusedinthesetestmethods.Considerableexperienceanddiligenceoftheanalystmaybenecessarytoresolvesatisfactorilythesedifficulties.Dyes,lubricants,anddelustrantsarenotpresentnormallyinamountslargeenoughtointerferewiththeanalyses.Thesetestmethodsarenotrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecauseofthequalitativenatureoftheresultsandbecauseofthelimitationspreviouslynoted.Note28212;Forstatementsonprecisionandbiasofthestandardquantitativetestmethodsfordeterminingphysicalpropertiesforconfirmationoffiberidentificationrefertothecitedtestmethod.Theprecisionandbiasofthenonstandardquantitative1.1ThesetestmethodscovertheidentificationofthefollowingtextilefibersusedcommerciallyintheUnitedStates:Acetate(secondary)
