【摘要】:この規格は,現地試験に容易に利用できる水中の遊離塩素及び全塩素の定量方法について規定する。この方法は,定期的に校正された標準スケールによる色の目視比較に基づく。海水及び臭化物,よう化物を合む水については特別な手順が必要である。この方法は,塩素としてCl)0.0004~0.07mmol/l(0.03~5mg/l)の全塩素に適用できる。高濃度のものに対しては,測定試料を薄めなければならない。もし操作の速さ及び装置のコンパクトさが,最優先の要求でなければ吸光光度法が别の手順として記述されている。
