【摘要】:ThispartofISO7981specifiesthedeterminationofsixselectedPAHindrinkingwaterbyhigh-performancethin-layerchromatographywithfluorescencedetectionafterliquid-liquidextraction.ThesixPAHare:fluoranthene,benzo[b]fluoranthene,benzo[a]pyrene,benzo[k]fluoranthene,indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrene,andbenzo[ghi]perylene(seeTable1).Ascreeningmethod(methodA)isdescribedtoexcludethosesamplescontaininglessthan20%ofthelimitvaluesgiveninReferences[1],[2],[3]and[4].Aquantitativemethod(methodB)isalsodescribed,withaworkingrangeof40ng/lto240ng/l(sumof6PAH).Higherconcentrationscanbedeterminedbyusingasmalleraliquotofthesample.Withsomemodifications,thismethodisalsoapplicablefortheanalysisofgroundwatersandmoderatelypollutedsurfacewaters.

【摘要】:Thispracticeisusefulforpreparingextractsfromfiredebrisforlateranalysisbygaschromatography,GC/MS,orGC/IR.Thisisaverysensitiveseparationprocedure,capableofisolatingquantitiessmallerthan1x03BC;Lofignitableliquidresiduefromasample.Thispracticeisparticularlyusefulwhenthepotentialforfractionationduringseparationmustbereduced,aswhenattemptingtodistinguishbetweenvariousgradesoffueloil.Thispracticeisparticularlyusefulfortheextractionofnonporoussurfacessuchasglass,ortheinteriorofburnedcontainers.Itisalsoparticularlywellsuitedtotheextractionofmaterialsfromverysmallsamples.Thispracticecanbehamperedbycoincidentextractionofinterferingcompoundspresentinthefiredebrissamples.ThispracticemaynotbeusefulfortheextractionofsomeClass0andClass1ignitableliquids,whichmayevaporateduringtheconcentrationstep.Thisisadestructivetechnique.Wheneverpossible,thistechniqueshouldonlybeusedwhenarepresentativeportionofthesamplecanbereservedforreanalysis.Thoseportionsofthesamplesubjectedtothisproceduremaynotbesuitableforresampling.ConsiderusingpassiveheadspaceconcentrationasdescribedinPracticeE1412.1.1Thispracticecoverstheprocedureforremovingsmallquantitiesofflammableorcombustibleliquidresiduefromsamplesoffiredebrisusingsolventtoextracttheresidue.1.2Thispracticeissuitableforsuccessfullyextractingflammableorcombustibleliquidresiduesovertheentirerangeofconcentrations.1.3AlternateseparationandconcentrationproceduresarelistedinTestMethodE1387.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seeNote1.
